Week 8 Contribution - Decision making research for speech at start of stall:
As phenomicon is about the brain, I thought it’d be useful to the participants of our offering to point out to them the part of the brain they’re using when coming through Cause & Consequence. After various research I discovered several areas of the brains frontal lobe are responsible for all of the choices we make. I feel by explaining to the participant what part of the brain they’re exploring it not only helps them to understand our offering, the expo and their own brains better, but it also allows them the understanding of the consequence/ reward they receive at the end of our offering, learning that they can either opt to make someone else’s day better/easier or they can choose not to. This is just like any decision you make on a day to day basis.

This is our potential speech for the question masters at the start of the stall:
This is our potential speech for the question masters at the start of the stall:
"Hello and welcome to cause and consequence the frontal lobe of the brain is responsible for decision making and today we’re going to be activating this part of your brain to determine a consequence. Our aim is that you will think more about seemingly meaningless decisions that impact your daily life. Please put on your poncho and then step into the white circle. Myself and ____ will act as your question masters so please follow our guidance. At the end of our offering you will receive a reward and challenge this challenge allows you to opt to make someone else’s day brighter or easier, or you can choose not to accept the challenge. This is just like any decision you make on a day to day basis. What decisions will you make?"
