Facilitation Role Research: Resource Management

My group was assigned Waste Management as our Facilitation role so we divided sections of the area and certain information to each member to research and find. 

We also narrowed down our offering idea to one where you pop a balloon over your head and receive a nice comment. 

My Contribution

• I found places in the community where larger amounts of rubbish or recyclable materials or objects could be taken. I found addresses and contact details for them.

• For larger items, larger quantities or building supplies, the Wellington City Council suggests the disposal of rubbish and recycling at the Southern Landfill and Second Treasures Shop, both on Landfill Rd and contactable by phone on 04-499 4444.

• I also sketched our offering idea and made the offering slide for next week. 

Our collective's chosen organisational model was a flatarchy with one "executive group" made from one representative member from each group.

• I was also nominated by my group to represent them in the executive group. This week I began to participate in the "executive group" meetings, where we narrowed down the theme options and I posted this image on the facebook page and suggested it as a theme for and way to organize the expo.
