Week 5 notes + ideas: Hilary
decision making
range of decisions down the process to get to the final outcome- could be along a line
1) first decision 2) second decision 3) third
decision making along process- could see all your past choices to see what you ended up with
each would be different- gambling- what is worth the risk, play it safe or risk
second guessing yourself on your choice
eg bag of lollies OR next decision to be made
colour coordinate the balloons to different emotions or material things
pegs to attach balloons overhead
rain poncho to add to the experience of water or confetti falling- feeling of the unknown
pop balloon of your own choice and get an activity- could be our own or another teams, could be instructions to go to another teams stall
waste management

waste management
bins could be a part of our stall - decision making 'do you really need to throw this away?'
could make posters to inform people about waste
could work with communications to maybe use the first collectives waste to use the first collectives waste to use in our collective
making waste management fun- making people want to be tidy and clean up
the idea of having a target above a bin to make it enjoyable

what can go inside the balloons- challenges or tasks
go to next collective
make yourself happy or making someone else happy
questions that relate to decision making and the brain

As a group i think we are pleased with our idea generation this week and how we are progressing from one big idea to defining it and how we can execute it as a team. I think our choice of decision making is great as it really questions our participants and might get them thinking about their choices more in life- how one choice can set something else in motion or how you can gamble with certain choices for a different outcome.
