Week 6 contribution: Hilary

Small to scale prototype model




Prototyping: While prototyping, we decided on the spacing of the rope and the visualised the general idea of having the balloons hanging over head. We figured out our spacing in the hallway along with placing people in our model to be able to see the scale of each part. We worked well as a team completing this prototype as we each had jobs to contribute to make this prototype work successfully. Alissa stepped up and did majority of the measuring and construction of this prototype to make it true to the hallway we were using, while i found the images and scale of what to print objects off while others measured and cut out these objects to then place in our prototype. This helped us visualise our potential final outcome and effectively how our decision making process will work with the participants. We also had to think about how we will physically make this work in the hallway, we thought about buying a gazebo or some kind of structure to have as long as it wasn't too pricey or too tall for the hallway
