Week 5 - Offerings and Facilitation Roles

This week we presented our idea to the rest of the collective and I was very happy with the 

responses everyone gave. They were all so helpful and enthusiastic about our idea, I think it made 

myself and the rest of my group more excited about our expo. The presentation also helped me 

understand our stall a bit better as up until then I hadn’t seen it all rounded out into one final idea.

Since we got some very helpful ideas I recorded them to refer back to when we are creating the 

expo:

Hallway of balloons - make the set up easy to replace the balloons eg. Paper clips attached to string 

Different coloured balloons give you something different - have a code

Why did they pick that particular balloon?

Look at the brain chemicals eg. Dopamine

Standing below and something else pops out eg. Water or confetti - laminate the slips inside water ones, plastic on ground, can’t be slippery

Give everyone rain ponchos so the think its going to always be water

Disorientate them so blue one has something else and red one has water etc.

Have paper inside the balloons saying either pop the next one or leave now. You may get more good balloons or you may get more wet 

Balloons saying please pop me or do not pop and the please pop one looks scary or unappealing and the do not pop one looks nice 

Waste management-

Do you really need to throw that out? Can you recycle it or give it to someone else?

Make posters to inform people about waste
