Week 7 - Prototype and production plans

This week we began to purchase items for our expo.  We decided that we’d all get what we could and keep the receipts so we could split up the costs at the end. For our prototype we got a gazebo so we could see if the frame idea would work, some rope to hold the balloons up, a tarp to put down the bottom to catch any water and duct tape to attach it all together. We felt that it was important to also do a full scale prototype to help us gauge an idea of how much space we’d need, if we needed anything else for the final expo and how long it would take to set up/take down.

We realised that we may need some sort of trip hazard sign and some non slip bath mats for safety, since there’s water involved.

Through trial and error we realised that we could only put a small amount of water in each balloon otherwise they were too heavy and came off
